To ensure cut quality across various sheet metal grades, the shear features manual handwheel blade gap adjustment from 0.002 in. to 0.024 in., along with powered rake angle adjustment from 0.5 deg. to 2.5 deg. Adjustable hydraulic hold-down cylinders secure workpieces against the table before blade contact to prevent material slippage. Material handling is facilitated by front support arms, a squaring arm with eccentric alignment adjustment, roller infeed table surfaces, and a shadow-line lamp that projects a visual cutting line onto scribed workpieces.
