About this product
The AutoTecknic Dry Carbon Cooling Plate will provide the G80 M3, G82 M4, and G83 M4 with incomparable aesthetics to the engine bay while providing the OEM standard of air induction, providing the intake and engine with cooler air during high-speed driving; some customers have even reported remarkable performance and power gains during track sessions.
Dry carbon is the highest-quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced. Dry carbon fiber's name comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is formed using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold and then into a sealed vacuum (autoclave) to properly cure. This method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the "wet" method. The autoclave vacuuming process of making dry carbon means fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets in the carbon.
This cooling plate is not only functional, but the aesthetics of carbon fiber will also improve the overall appearance of the G8X M3/ M4 engine bay.
