Ashtray Delete Kit (Front) [Vanagon]

Smoking is out, infotainment is in baby! Ditch that outdated ashtray for a flat and smooth metal surface you can use for more important tasks - like getting your tablet mounted up.

This GoWesty Ashtray Elimination Kit installs in minutes, giving you a clean, flush fit mounting surface right in the center of your dash. The blanking plate is made of thick, heavy-gauge powder-coated steel, making it the perfect platform for all sorts of magnetic, suction-cup, and bolt-on accessory mounts. If you are seeking that Tesla dash look with a big old screen front and center, your wish just came true. Looking to add a super strong mount for your phone or tablet that won't fly off when the pavement ends? This is what you've been waiting for. Given it is made of steel, magnetic bases work like a charm. Want to take it a step further? Drill into the plate and bolt down whatever you wish!

We look forward to seeing all of your creatives uses for this simple and versatile product!

Fits: All 1980-91 Vanagon models with the dashboard that has padding around the ashtray opening. For vans with no padding around the ashtray opening, this product will still work, but will not sit perfectly flush. See additional photos.
