About this product

The Arc'teryx Sabre Men's Bib takes everything that makes the Sabre pant good and adds full chest-up coverage for the deepest days. It is waterproof, breathable, and cut with a modern shape that works as well in the backcountry as it does at the resort. Light enough to breathe and tough enough to seal out wind and water, it is the bib for skiers who do not want snow finding a way in.

Why we like it:

The roomier thighs paired with a supple new instep patch make this bib feel built for actual skiing rather than just standing around looking technical. It is the kind of fit upgrade you notice on turn one.

Features and Functions:

Built from waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX ePE, the Sabre Bib is burly enough for rocks and trees and technical enough to seal out wind and water. The modern cut balances backcountry function with resort-friendly form, the thighs run roomier for mobility, and the new instep patch is softer and more supple to prevent bunching at the boot.

Fit and Sizing:

A regular cut with added thigh room gives more freedom of movement than past versions, while the bib front layers cleanly under a shell jacket. True to size, with a back panel that keeps deep snow out.

Bottom Line:

When the snow is deep and a pant is not enough, the Sabre Bib is best at full-coverage freeride skiing with a downhill bias. Reach for it on storm days and powder mornings when staying dry is the whole game.
