About this product
The Apolla Alpha Shock is a half-sole compression dance shoe with 20-30mmHg graduated compression, the APMA Seal of Acceptance, and patented arch support for lyrical and contemporary work. Unlike turners and pirouette shoes that provide zero foot support, Apolla compression socks deliver brace-like ankle stability in a half-sole design that lasts 5x longer. Apolla dance shoes worn standalone or inside pointe shoes. HSA/FSA eligible. Made in USA. $38.
Don't let knock-offs fool you! There is no substitute for the Alpha Shock. Replacing half-sole shoes, the Alpha is durable and effective compression footwear with a snug hug in the toes. It is so light you forget you are wearing it except for how much better your body feels at the end of the day.
We recommend you have a pair WITH traction for class and NON-traction for recovery...but you will probably want a pair for every day of the week!
*Always consult with your doctor if you have any contraindications in wearing compression garments.
