Angelus Paintable Repair Filler is a leather filler for repairing small holes, cracks, and scratches in smooth leather, vinyl, and sneaker midsoles. It dries to a flexible finish that moves with the material, and you can paint over it or mix it with Angelus Paint for a seamless repair.
Each jar is 2 oz.
Works on
- Leather, bonded leather, and vegan leather
- Vinyl, pleather, and patent leather
- Foam and most sneaker midsoles
How to use it
- Clean the surface and let it dry.
- Press the filler into the hole or crack with an Artist Spatula.
- Let it dry completely.
- Lightly sand it smooth with Angelus Multi-Purpose Wet Sandpaper.
- Paint over the repair with Angelus Paint to match the color.

Can I use leather filler on shoes and boots?
Yes. It repairs scuffs, holes, and cracks on leather shoes, boots, and most sneaker midsoles.
Can I dye over the filler?
Paint over it instead. Dye doesn't take well on the filler and won't match the leather around the repair, so Angelus Paint gives you the best color match.
Can I tint the filler before applying it?
Yes. You can mix it with Angelus Paint so the filler starts closer to your final color.
