The Angelus Paint Basics Kit is a leather paint kit with five core colors, brushes, and deglazer, for anyone starting to customize sneakers or paint leather goods. Black, White, Red, Yellow, and Blue cover the basics, and because all Angelus paints mix together, you can blend them into the shades you need.

What you'll also need
To protect your work and set the sheen, seal it with Angelus 4-Coat, sold separately. On canvas, clean the surface with Angelus Easy Cleaner instead of deglazing.

Common questions
Can you make other colors from the Basics Kit?
Yes. Red, Yellow, and Blue mix into colors like orange, green, and purple, and White and Black lighten or darken any shade.
Do I need to deglaze leather before painting?
Yes. The factory finish has to come off first or the paint won't bond well, which is why the kit includes deglazer.
How far does each bottle go?
A 1 oz. bottle usually covers 2 to 3 pairs of shoes completely.
Can you airbrush Angelus paint?
Yes. Use an airbrush with at least a 0.35mm nozzle, and thin the paint with Angelus 2-Thin if you need it to flow more easily.
