The Quality of the Finish: The glazing of the sink surface provides both durability and shine over long periods of time. The raw material used (fine fireclay) allows for uniformity in the finish. The sinks glaze is practically impervious to threatening particles from food preparation. Stains do not penetrate the glaze and can be easily wiped away. Acids and chemical cleaners have virtually no adverse effect on the sink. Coffee stains, cigarette burns, and other daily occurrences that would adversely effect kitchen sinks made from other materials are easily wiped away on fireclay sinks.

Features

• Heat resistant up to 350°F. This sink has been tested and will not crack due to heat exposure from a pot or pan up to 350°F.
• Constructed of solid high-grade fireclay material using high-pressure casting, ensuring durability, longevity, and resistance to acids, alkalis, scratches, and chipping. The glazed surface provides lasting shine and durability. Fine fireclay allows for a uniform finish.
• Can be installed as Under-Mount (countertop over edge of sink), Top-Mount (countertop lower than sink edge), or Flush-Mount (countertop even with sink).
• Features a standard 3½” center drain and is compatible with garbage disposals.
• Due to the organic nature of fireclay, dimensions may vary by up to 1/8". It is recommended to have the sink on-site before measuring and cutting countertops and cabinets. Minor imperfections may appear and are not defects — they add to the uniqueness of each sink. Defective sinks do not pass quality control and are recycled at the factory.
• Must be supported from beneath. You can use the undermount installation kit (Model #: ABUMSB) on the cabinet’s inner walls. It is recommended to place plywood on the rods for a smooth, flat surface. Drill necessary drain holes. Without the kit, create a custom 2x4" support frame.
• Resistant to scratches from pots, pans, knives, and other kitchen tools.
