About this product

  • 560 ft/lb Torque Capacity
  • MIBA Sprung Ceramic Disc
  • Heavy-Duty Dual Clamp Load Pressure Plate
  • Fully Enclosed Spring Retainers Prevents Spring Failure
  • Action Clutch Stage 5 Clutch Kit - 2006-2011 Honda Civic Si (K20Z3)

The Action Clutch Stage 5 (2MS) kit is the top of the range for the 2006-2011 Civic Si (K20Z3), built for drivers who need maximum holding power and reliability from a seriously built K20. It's aimed at race applications and heavy track use with light street driving, delivering lightning-fast engagement and the torque capacity to hold a high-power build. With 562 ft-lbs of crank torque capacity, this is the clutch for a Si that's well past bolt-ons.

    MIBA Sprung Ceramic Disc

The Stage 5 uses a MIBA sprung ceramic disc, available in 4-puck or 6-puck, paired with a heavy-duty pressure plate using a dual clamp load diaphragm. Ceramic grabs hard and tolerates serious heat, which is where the holding capacity comes from, and the sprung hub keeps engagement from being completely brutal. You get a strong, consistent pedal with minimal chatter after a proper break-in. Reinforced drive straps add durability for the abuse a race clutch sees.

    4-Puck Or 6-Puck

You can run the disc as a 4-puck or a 6-puck. The 4-puck is a bit easier to modulate off the line, while the 6-puck adds surface area for more holding capacity and a firmer grab. Both are aggressive ceramic pucks, so pick based on your power level and how you launch the car.

    Know The Trade-Off

Ceramic-based discs increase holding capacity and durability, but they can run harsher and slip differently than an organic disc, so they may not extend lifespan during daily street driving. This is a race and track clutch that can handle light street use, not a smooth daily-driver setup. If your Si is mostly a commuter, a lower stage is the better fit. If it's a built car that goes to the track, the Stage 5 is doing exactly what it's for.

    Built And Checked For Safety

Action Clutch uses patented fully enclosed spring retainers to keep the disc springs from dislodging, a failure that can destroy an engine or transmission. Every kit is quality-checked and signed off by engineers with over 60 years of combined experience before it ships, so even a race clutch arrives verified rather than pulled straight off the line.

    What's Included

    • Sprung MIBA ceramic disc (4-puck or 6-puck)
    • Dual clamp load heavy-duty pressure plate with reinforced drive straps
    • Pilot bearing / bushing (when applicable)
    • Clutch alignment tool
    • Conventional release bearing

    Specs

    • Torque holding capacity: 562 ft-lbs (crank)
    • Disc: MIBA sprung ceramic, 4 or 6 puck
    • Pressure plate: dual clamp load, heavy-duty, reinforced drive straps
    • Patented fully enclosed spring retainers

    Break-In

Break-in is 500 street miles under 4,500 RPM, no more than half throttle, and no boost (if applicable). Proper break-in is essential for warranty retention, longevity, and reaching maximum torque capacity, so don't lean on it before it's seated.

    Fitment

Direct fit for the 2006-2011 Honda Civic Si (K20Z3), 6-speed manual transmission.

If your K20Z3 Si is a built, hard-driven car and the lower stages can't hold it, the Stage 5 is the one that will: a MIBA sprung ceramic disc in 4 or 6 puck, a dual clamp load pressure plate, and 562 ft-lbs of capacity. Go in knowing it's a race-focused clutch, give it the 500-mile break-in, and it'll hold everything the Si can make.
