The innovative diaphragm design of ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates increases clamp load, reduces deflection, and maximizes clutch life. For unrivaled performance, all diaphragms go through a four-stage heat-treating procedure. Precision cover stampings on ACT pressure plates ensure rigidity and consistency. Premium organic materials with high copper content for enhanced heat transmission and steel-backed lining for greater burst strength and durability are used in ACT's Performance Street discs. These discs have a lower marcel for faster shift action and greater strength and dependability to complement ACT pressure plates.
