Your A-arms and CV boots sit right in the line of fire when you're pushing a Sportsman XP 1000 Ultimate Trail hard through rocks and ruts. This guard set covers front and rear, keeping debris off the CV boots and joints that a bent or torn boot can turn into an expensive repair.
Which A-Arm Style Do I Have?
This guard set is built specifically for the arched A-arm found on Sportsman XP 1000 Ultimate Trail models. Look at your lower A-arm, the suspension arm running from the frame to the wheel.
- Arched A-Arm: Bows or curves upward in the middle before angling back down to the wheel hub, giving extra ground clearance. This is the style covered by this guard set.
- Straight A-Arm: Runs in a flat, direct line from the frame mount to the wheel hub, no curve or bend. If your Sportsman has this style, this guard set will not fit.
