About this product
The New Balance 990v6 Made in USA "Black Grey" is a sophisticated evolution of the legendary 990 series, merging the brand's heritage craftsmanship with modern performance engineering. This iteration features a high-contrast upper constructed from a breathable black mesh base, reinforced by premium pigskin suede overlays in a soft, atmospheric grey and sleek black synthetic accents. Unlike previous versions, the v6 streamlines the silhouette by removing the traditional midfoot saddle, allowing the suede and synthetic overlays to flow seamlessly from heel to toe for a more aerodynamic look. Beneath the surface, the sneaker is anchored by a massive FuelCell foam midsole—a first for the 990 line—providing superior propulsive energy return alongside classic ENCAP cushioning for unmatched stability. Finished with reflective detailing on the iconic "N" logo and heel tab, this Made in USA staple serves as the definitive choice for those seeking a premium, monochromatic runner that refuses to compromise on either aesthetic versatility or all-day comfort.
