Built for Serious Chipping Work
The BILT HARD 8-Inch Hydraulic Feed Wood Chipper is built for demanding property maintenance, woodland cleanup, and large-branch processing. Powered by a 739cc RATO R740 V-Twin engine delivering 25 HP, it combines high-capacity chipping with operator-controlled hydraulic feeding for more efficient handling of branches, limbs, and woody brush.
Up to 8-Inch Chipping Capacity
Process solid wood material up to 8 inches in diameter. The disc cutting system uses two A8 high-speed tool-steel cutting blades and one fixed blade to handle demanding branch-cleanup jobs. Processing capacity reaches up to 3.5 metric tonnes of brushwood per hour, depending on material and operating conditions.
Hydraulic Feed with Manual Speed Control
A hydraulic feed roller pulls material into the cutting chamber, reducing the need for continuous manual pushing. The manual hydraulic flow-control valve lets the operator reduce feed speed for larger-diameter material and increase it for smaller branches. Forward, Neutral, and Reverse feed control provides direct control when feeding or repositioning irregular material.
25HP RATO V-Twin Power
The RATO R740 739cc V-Twin, 4-stroke engine delivers 25 HP and features electric start with a 12V 32Ah battery. The large-displacement engine is matched to the chipper's 8-inch cutting system for demanding outdoor cleanup work.
360° Directional Discharge
The 360-degree rotating discharge chute lets you direct wood chips where they are needed, whether into a collection area, onto the ground, or away from the work zone.
Emergency Stop & Feed Control
The emergency stop bar provides rapid shutdown of both the engine and feed system when needed. The hydraulic control system also allows the feed roller to be stopped independently using the Neutral position.
Towable Design for Property Mobility
A 2-inch hitch connection, jockey wheel, shock-absorbing axle system, and 145/70R12 tires make the machine easier to reposition around farms, wooded properties, and other private work areas.
Important: This machine is not designed for public-road travel. Towing and repositioning should be limited to appropriate private-property and off-road use.
Trailer Lighting
Two rear trailer lights connect through an American-style 7-pin plug and support brake, turn-signal, and running-light functions for improved visibility while repositioning the machine.
