This Espresso calibrated tamper come with an internal spring and an external spring feedback mechanism that ensures consistent distribution and tamping pressure. The leveling plate ensures tamping level every time for optimal results, while the ripple tamper design minimizes the risk of doughnut extraction for controlled water channeling. The ergonomically designed handle provides easy and convenient handling.
The ripple espresso tamper features a unique design that incorporates concentric circles or ridges on the base. These ripples (or ridges) utilize the entire coffee bed by creating close water channels during the extraction process, resulting in a balanced and flavorful espresso shot.
The espresso tamper base is a diameter of 58.5mm, ensuring a perfectly snug fit most baskets on the 58mm (‘58mm’ baskets including VST, IMS, and more ) standard espresso machines, effectively reduce the residual powder on the edge of the basket. Suitable for most 58mm coffee machine portafilters on the market.
