4" Blue Rigid Backer Pad
This 4" diameter backer pad from DAA Professional Tools has a rigid blue plastic body with a 5/8"-11 threaded mount and a hook-and-loop (velcro) face for attaching polishing pads to a wet grinder or polisher. The rigid body keeps the pad flat against the work surface, which is the point of a rigid backer versus a flexible one — it resists the wavy, uneven finish that a soft backer can leave on a straight edge. It is rated for wet use on granite, marble, quartz, and other hard stone and tile surfaces.
