Description & Features

2027 Rossignol HERO Athlete FIS SL skis are built for elite athletes racing FIS slalom. Developed from Rossignol’s World Cup race program, this slalom ski delivers explosive edge grip, rapid edge-to-edge response, and precise control for tight SL courses.

Line Control Technology (LCT) eliminates counter-flexing to keep the ski tracking smoothly through each turn. Combined with Titanal reinforcement, a wood core, and rectangular full sidewall construction, the HERO Athlete FIS SL provides the stability, power transmission, and edge precision required for aggressive slalom racing.

Key Features

• World Cup FIS Slalom race ski
• Line Control Technology (LCT) for stability and precise line control
• Wood Core provides natural dampness and consistent energy transfer
• Titanal Construction increases torsional rigidity and power transmission
• Rectangular Full Sidewall maximizes edge grip and precision
• Oversized Sidecut improves carving power and quick edge-to-edge transitions
• Full Camber profile for maximum rebound and edge hold
• R22 World Cup Plate enhances stability and direct energy transfer
• Sintered UHD race base for maximum glide and durability

Construction & Technology

Line Control Technology (LCT)

LCT integrates a central power rail from tip to tail that eliminates counter-flexing. This design keeps the ski stable through the turn while maintaining precise trajectory control and consistent edge pressure.

Titanal Construction

Titanal laminates increase torsional rigidity and damping, delivering powerful edge grip and stability at race speeds.

Rectangular Sidewall

Rectangular sidewall construction combines layered core materials with vertical sidewalls to maximize edge grip, balance, and power transmission.

Wood Core

The wood core provides natural dampness and stability while maintaining consistent energy transfer through each turn.

Oversized Sidecut

An oversized sidecut profile increases tip flare and effective edge contact for powerful carving and fast edge-to-edge response.

Full Camber

Full camber provides maximum edge contact and rebound, delivering the precision and energy needed for FIS-level slalom racing.
