We were blown away by the performance capabilities of the Wedge. The board feels a lot smaller and compact than the specifications make it out to be and this is because of the pulled in tail, consistent rocker line, bottom contours and the thinner rail profile. The Wedge could well be a SUP surfing quiver killer for beginner to intermediate SUP surfers.

This 9’2” Wedge demonstrates the best hiding of volume we’ve yet experienced, both on sight and on the water. In surf with some energy, the easy take-off gives way to a smooth, rail-engaged bottom turn happily free from the clatter and excess speed that trouble some wider surf shapes. The tail response is light and the Wedge responds like a board 20 litres smaller. This board is a wave-burglar without equal. If high wave count, time on the wave and fool-proof stability in a board that behaves as a surfboard should are what you’re looking for, the Wedge is it.
FIN SET UP
• Thruster fin setup provides comfortable straight line tracking on flat and gives drive and control in surf.
• 8’7″ & 8’0″ features both thruster and quad. Quad fin set up uses 4 side fins and gives fast acceleration and instant down the line speed as it does not have a drag from the larger centre fin.

• Top grade 150g Biaxial Carbon wraps the entire board, joining with an overlap on the deck and bottom to create flat stringer, increasing the total breakage strength.
• 2 skins of durable fibre glass form a sandwich around the biaxial Carbon, protecting the carbon by dampening and absorbing the impact.
• The combination of twin T-stringers deck and bottom work together to increase the overall total breakage strength.
• Multiple reinforcements in the standing area, nose and tail increase impact resistance.
