A fuel tank skid plate for the 2021 and newer Ford Bronco. Precision laser cut from 3/16" thick aluminum and TIG welded.
The Bronco's large fuel tank hangs low under the truck with little ground clearance and no shielding, which leaves it exposed to rocks and debris. This kit puts a plate between the tank and the trail.
Why Protect The Fuel Tank
The fuel tank is one of the lowest, largest components under the Bronco, and from the factory nothing covers it. On the trail, that makes it a likely contact point for rocks, ledges and debris thrown up by the tires.
A skid plate takes those hits instead of the tank. It spreads an impact across the plate and lets the truck slide off an obstacle rather than catching on it.
