Every pivot uses an Ultra-Flex joint, with 17-4 stainless steel spacers, urethane wobble stoppers and grade 8 hardware.

Coil springs are not included and must be purchased separately.

The Gen 2 Raptor locates its rear axle on leaf springs, so the same springs have to hold up the truck, locate the axle and control axle wrap. That compromise limits how far the rear can travel and how well it stays planted.

A 5-link separates those jobs. The trailing arms locate the axle front to back, the panhard bar centers it side to side, and the coil over handles spring and damping. This kit uses the Gen 3 Raptor 5-link layout, with the frame mounts putting every link and the panhard bar in the stock Gen 3 location.

The factory parts mount through rubber bushings. Replacing them with the more rigid Ultra-Flex joints makes the truck feel more predictable and limits the flex that turns into wheel hop.

The kit uses a standard FOX 3.0 x 16" travel coil over, mounted through the floor of the bed to make the most of wheel travel and control. Choose it in the Shock Option:

• No Shocks, if you would rather buy the coil over separately
• FOX 3.0 x 16" Race Version Coil Over
• FOX 3.0 x 16" Internal Bypass Coil Over

The upper shock mount is carried by an FMI bed cage with shock mount towers. The Bed Cage option offers the base cage for 2 stand-up tires, the same cage with a Quick Release Jack, the cage with a Quick Release Jack plus 2 fuel jugs and tray, or No Bed Cage.

Built for the 2017–2020 Gen 2 Ford Raptor. It replaces the factory leaf spring rear suspension and keeps the stock fuel tank.

The rear axle plate kit contains the mounts that are required to be welded to the rear axle, and the coil over mounts up through the bed floor via the bed cage. The hardware and spacers needed for install are in the box.

We recommend adding a rear bump stop kit to handle the big hits and control the last few inches of wheel travel. The Bump Stop Kit option adds the FMI Gen 2 bump stop with a FOX bump stop.

Are coil springs included?

No. Coil springs are not included with the kit and must be purchased separately.

Can I buy the kit without shocks?

Yes. Choose No Shocks and buy a standard FOX 3.0 x 16" travel coil over separately. Either the race version or the internal bypass version works.

Is the bump stop included?

Not by default. Selecting the FMI Gen 2 Bump Stop with FOX bump in the Bump Stop Kit option adds it to the kit. Choosing No Bump Stop kit leaves the bump stop kit out.

Does it require welding?

Yes. The rear axle plate kit contains mounts that are required to be welded to the rear axle.
