About this product
Description
Excessive heat prematurely damages transmission components. The 6L90 transmission in the 2015-2019 Silverado/Sierra HD is prone to overheating due to flaws in the factory cooler design. With its air-blocking plastic mount and inadequate size, the factory cooler fails to maintain optimal transmission fluid temperatures.
Enter the PPE Performance Transmission Cooler: boasting a substantially larger frontal area for improved airflow, and a monstrous 3.3 times larger cooling core. This translates to a remarkable 350 percent increase in cooling capacity, resulting in a reduction of transmission fluid temperature by over 40 degrees F. Its robust extruded aluminum bar and plate construction ensure durability under all conditions.
Installation of the PPE Transmission Cooler is a breeze with its bolt-on design. All mounting hardware and brackets are included.
