About this product
For those who live in color: a painter’s notebook, captured under glass. Numbered swatches parade across this tray like little flags of possibility—cadmium dawns, inky midnights, blushes and bruises—each one a whisper from an artist’s studio where palettes were kept to record the exact alchemy of a hue.
Handmade in New York in the French tradition of decoupage, the artwork is reverse-applied to bent glass, sealed by hand, and burnished so the colors glow with depth and light. The form feels smooth to the touch; the story stays safely beneath. Every piece is individually signed by Ben.
Charming yet practical: food-safe, wipe-clean, and felted on the reverse to protect your surfaces. Beautiful for serving citrus and olives, corralling brushes on a desk, or displayed upright on a gallery easel (it also hangs easily with a plate hanger).
A folded card describing the time-honored decoupage process accompanies each tray. A gift for artists, designers, and anyone who’s ever fallen in love with a color—and wanted to remember the exact shade forever.
