Preciosa Ornela's 10/0 Silver Lined Garnet seed beads come cut from glass tube in Bohemia, Czechia, giving each tiny bead crisp faceted edges that catch the light differently than a standard round rocaille. You get a full hank of 2.2–2.4 mm beads in a deep, transparent garnet red with a reflective silver core that punches well above their size.
The transparent garnet glass lets light travel through to the silver-lined core, so the color reads as rich and luminous rather than flat — somewhere between a lit ruby and a dark cherry depending on your light source.
