When the DSG in an Audi 8Y A3, S3 or RS3 heats up, especially after repeated launch control use, it's common for transmission fluid to be forced out through the breather hose and spray across the underside of the hood. 034Motorsport's Billet Aluminum DSG Breather Catch Can replaces the tiny factory plastic vent with a catch can that keeps the system breathing properly while trapping any fluid that escapes, then draining it back into the DSG.

Construction

The can body is CNC milled from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and black anodized for a durable, stealthy finish. A stainless steel baffle plate inside prevents transmission oil from escaping the system, and the external mounting brackets are powder coated for corrosion resistance. The factory plastic vent hose is replaced with an 8mm ID silicone hose, while the OE connector at the transmission is retained. All mounting points are factory locations, so no drilling or cutting is needed.
